What's Next? -- An Emergency Preparedness Workshop

This is a free, community event hosted by the nonprofit Cascadia Quest’s Council of Elders to support the Eugene community in preparing for natural disasters and other life-threatening emergencies.

Make a plan today to safeguard your home and family when an emergency occurs. The more prepared we can be, the more resiliency our neighborhoods and city will have when resources are strained.

How will you meet with your family if a disaster occurs when everyone is at work or school? What can you keep in your home to bolster your ability to survive during or after a disaster? What do you need in a "go-bag" in case you have to suddenly evacuate?

This workshop is taught by Randy Prince, the Executive Coordinator of Action Plan Eugene, which organizes block-level emergency preparedness groups in a cooperative effort to link Neighborhood Associations and the City of Eugene's Emergency Management Program.

This is a free event, but space is limited!
